Providing Opportunities and Resources for Female Forensic Science Professionals, Students and Teens
The Association of Women in Forensic Science (AWIFS) is a non-profit organization based in the city of Philadelphia that provides networking opportunities for female forensic professionals as well as educational opportunities, mentoring and outreach programming for female adolescents ages 12-18 with the desire to pursue a career in forensic science.
Our mission is commitment to the inclusion, advancement, and recognition of women as members of the forensic science community with a focus on bringing women in science together to “Network & Inspire”. AWIFS provides female professionals with valuable resources and information both locally in Philadelphia and nation-wide.
