April 21-April 29, 2017
Created by The Franklin Institute in 2011, the Philadelphia Science Festival is an annual citywide collaboration that explores the many ways that science and technology touch our everyday lives. With more than 200 of the region’s most influential institutions, museums and cultural centers working together to produce innovative and engaging events, the Festival aims to inspire the next generation of scientists and engineers and create homegrown citizen scientists. Organized and led by The Franklin Institute and presented by The Dow Chemical Company, the 2017 Festival packs more than 80 events into nine exciting days at locations across the region, including restaurants and breweries, parks, libraries, museums and other neighborhood places, many of them free!
